National Coal Corp. Released its Fourth Quarter and Year End 2007 Financial Results on April 16, 2008. Highlights include:
- Production increased 1.6% from 1,329,068 tons in 2006 to 1,350,911 tons in 2007
- 2007 revenues totaled approximately $92.8 million, up 6.0% from $87.5 million in 2006
- 2007 net loss increased 10.0% to $25.8 million from $23.4 million for 2006 and EBITDA for the year improved to a negative $823,000, from a negative $1.1 million in 2006
- 617,549 tons of coal sold during the fourth quarter of 2007 at an average net sales price of $54.79 a ton, an increase of $2.21 over the same quarter in 2006 on 405,625 tons sold
- Revenues for fourth quarter 2007 totaled approximately $34.0 million, up 58% from $21.5 million earned in the fourth quarter 2006, and up 63.0% from $20.9 million realized in the third quarter 2007

National Coal Corp. Released its Third Quarter 2007 Financial Results on November 19, 2007. Highlights include:
- Revenues for third quarter 2007 totaled approximately $20.9 million, down 2.7% from $21.4 million earned in the third quarter 2006, but up 10.5% from $18.9 million realized in the second quarter 2007.
- Tons of coal sold totaled approximately 405,685 tons, down 0.9% from 409,215 tons sold in the third quarter 2006, but up 9.0% from 372,341 tons sold in the second quarter 2007.
- Cost of sales increased 27.7% during the three months ended September 30, 2007, when compared to the second quarter 2007.
- New Kentucky mine opened during quarter should add approximately 240,000 tons per year of production and return idle equipment to productive use.
- At start of fourth quarter, completed acquisition of Mann Steel Products for $55 million, adding approximately 1 million tons of production and sales.
- Signed new contract for 240,000 tons per year for 2008 and 2009 with major customer.
- Pine Mountain, an idle asset, was sold during November for $2.0 million.

National Coal Corp. Released its Second Quarter 2007 Financial Results on August 20, 2007. Highlights include:
- Revenues for second quarter 2007 totaled approximately $18.9 million, down 21.6% from $24.1 million earned in the second quarter 2006 and down 1.0% from $19.0 million earned in the first quarter 2007.
- Coal tons sold total approximately 372,341 tons, down 18.3% from 455,548 tons sold in the second quarter 2006 and up 1.1% from 368,332 tons sold in the first quarter 2007.
- Cost of sales declined 14.8% in total, but increased $2.01 on a per ton basis during the three months ended June 30, 2007 as compared to the same period in 2006. Cost of sales increased 3.9% in total and $1.41 per ton during the three months ended June 30, 2007 when compared to the first quarter 2007.
